The Louvre got a quick "Once Over" by the family.  The kids hit all the IMPORTANT areas.... La Jaconde (Mona Lisa), Winged Victory, etc.  Marsha and I did the Arabic Art section.  I got some good video of the nice carpets.  I am a sucker for tapestries that are over a couple a hundred years old, and show how textile arts developed almost IDENTICALLY, and INDEPENDENTLY in so many civilizations.  Check out native American textiles in comparison to Ancient Arabic and European.... all very similar in the beginning...

I like the Louvre.  It is great in warmer weather, as the gardens are beautiful. 

Being inside during the holiday peak hours does NOT make it as comfortable as it could be.  You can roam that place for days and not see everything.
